Direct Debits: Our Direct Debits can be set up to pay any service provider from you account and are a simple, reliable way of making repayments for all your bills. All you need to do is provide the service provider with your credit union BIC & IBAN numbers!
Standing Orders can be set up so that automatic regular payments can be made from or to accounts at other financial institutions/to other people. Many members use these to grow their credit union savings or help pay off their loans with fixed amounts. You set these up and only you can make any changes.
CUAnywhere is our mobile banking app that is available for free download on all apple and android devices. This provides you with fingerprint login to our CU-Online banking facility, enabling you to view balances, transfer funds and more. The app also provides lightning access to this site, our facebook page and contact details so you can keep up to date with everything that's going on at The Lough Credit Union all at the touch of a button.
Payroll deductions are specific amounts chosen by you that are taken from your wages and saved into your The Lough Credit Union account weekly, fortnightly or monthly. All you need to do is provide your employer with your BIC and IBAN and the amount and frequency you want taken out. Download a payroll deduction form here

Our Complimentary Insurances Ensure Our Members Never Have To Worry
Loan Protection Insurance
Loan Protection Insurance is payable on the death of the eligible member. Should a Member with an outstanding loan balance pass away, the balance is repaid in full, subject to certain cover limits which may apply. This means that you can borrow from The Lough Credit Union in confidence that your dependants will not be obliged to repay the outstanding loan balance. This insurance does not cover loan balances due by Members after their 80th birthday.
Life Savings Insurance
Life Savings Insurance is payable on the death of the eligible member and pays out a benefit in proportion to the amount of savings that the member has made during the term of membership up to a certain amount. Coverage is automatic and subject to eligibility criteria.
Death Benefit Insurance
DBI provides life cover to our members as an addition to our Life Savings Insurance. DBI relieves the burden of bereavement costs giving you and your family added relief from financial worry. As a member, you are eligible for this cover provided you have joined before turning 70 years of age, have been eligible for insurance cover under the life savings policy and have a minimum share balance of €500 at date of death. As of October 1st 2017, the benefit is €1,950 payable on the death of the member and this amount must be paid towards funeral expenses.

What is CU@WORK?
CU@WORK is designed to provide you with a great way to save and repay loans directly at source from your wages or salary. Your loan repayment or the amount you decide to save can be automatically deducted from your pay and lodged into your designated Credit Union account with the deduction itemised on your payslip. How to Join
1. Become a member of The Lough Credit Union and get your BIC & IBAN from us
2. Complete our payroll deduction form
3. Contact your Payroll/HR Department advising them that you would like to set up a deduction into your Credit Union account. If your employer does not facilitate this process, they can contact us.
4. Your Payroll Department will deduct funds directly from your salary in line with your instructions and forward it to us. We will lodge these funds directly to your Credit Union account.

We buy and sell foreign currency and Euro to and from our members. We are usually well stocked in the more popular currencies such as USD, GBP & AUD, but we can order in most currencies for you at competitive exchange rates through our partnership with FEXCO. You don’t even need to contact us directly, you can simply click and collect by selecting either of our branches on the FEXCO website!
